Yes, we offer Gift Cards in various denominations in the Shop area of our website. If you’d like us to write a personalised message, please write it in the Notes section at the time of purchase. Your Gift card will be emailed to you ready for printing or forwarding by email to the recipient. Yes, from time to time we run face to face workshops in raffia basket making at The Raffia Connection in Box Hill North, Melbourne and at various craft events and exhibitions. In the case of faulty items, we offer refund or replacement. It is essential that you contact us within 7 days of delivery. If you would like to exchange or return an item, please email us through the contact form on this website. You must contact us within 7 days of delivery. Items are posted are at the customer’s cost and risk. The Raffia Connection will not refund customers for any products that it does not receive, or that it receives which are broken or damaged.

If you need to return any items that are unopened and in original condition, please email us to advise your name and order number. Then post the items to The Raffia Connection, 67 Margaret St, Box Hill North, Victoria 3129.

If you live in Melbourne, you’re welcome to return the items personally. You can visit our home-based business by appointment by emailing us through the contact form on our website.

Once the items are returned, a refund will be issued back onto your payment method. It may take a few days to appear in your account.

If for some reason you need to cancel your order, please advise us by email immediately. Orders that have already been processed will incur a $5 fee at our discretion.

Due to the hand-made nature of our products, colour, shade and size discrepancies occur and are an integral part of the material. Raffia is a plant and varies in the way that it absorbs the dye. It depends on the time in the season that the raffia is harvested, the moisture content in the raffia, and lots of other factors. The general rule of thumb is that if bright, bold colours are required, it's best to choose the Nutscene brand. If it's soft, subtle colours you're after, then The Raffia Connection brand is more suitable.

A raffia colour swatch is available for purchase on our website, but please note that variations can still occur. If you’re in Melbourne, feel free to contact us to visit our shop by appointment to view colours.
